Ankara November 2022

During our visit in Ankara we admired the city and it's attractions. We visited the Old Town and the beautiful castle. We also went for a short walk in the Swan Park and went to Tunali Hilmi Street to enjoy the vibrancy of the city. Visiting Eskisehir town and Anitkabir helped us aknowledge the Turkish history better. We tried local food such as lahmacun,kebab, baklava, ayran, cig borek and delicious tea. We did ecological workshops and prepared pencil containers out of ols mataerials and waste. Cooperating in groups helped us prepare lap books on ecology. The display of presentations on saving food prooved that we can all become more eco-friendly.We also did Ebru painting and decorated wooden spoons and spatulas with ornaments characteristic for polish folk art.
